I took Intermediate Algebra because I would like to receive a Bachelors Degree and I was told once you start math don’t stop until you get where you need to be.
Reflection:
In this class we did three different projects. We learned how to model population data, how to determine the height of a zero gravity parabolic flight, and how to determine a company’s best course of action to maximize profit. I have attached the project we did on modeling Utah’s population data. I found this project to be very interesting, I like whenever you can take math and apply it to real life. Being able to see where finding the slope of a line can be applied to real life makes math all that much more fun to learn.
